Why does KoseApp need to verify my ID?

We verify your ID to keep the platform safe for everyone. It helps prevent fraud, confirms you’re a real person, and ensures trust between buyers, sellers, and agents.

How do I verify my ID on KoseApp?

You’ll be asked to upload a photo of a government-issued ID (like a driver’s license or passport) and take a quick selfie. It only takes a few minutes and is done securely through the app.

Is my information safe during ID verification?

Yes. KoseApp uses secure technology to protect your personal data. Your information is encrypted and only used to verify your identity—it’s never shared or sold.

What types of ID are accepted?

We accept valid government-issued photo IDs such as: • Driver’s license • Passport • State ID card • Green card (for U.S. residents)

What if my ID is expired?

Unfortunately, we can’t accept expired IDs. Please upload a valid, unexpired government-issued ID to complete the verification process.

How long does verification take?

Most verifications are completed within a few minutes. If we need more time to review, we’ll notify you through the app or email.

What should I do if my ID verification fails?

If your verification doesn’t go through, double-check that your ID is clear, not expired, and your selfie matches the photo on your ID. You can try again or contact our support team for help.

Do I need to verify my ID to use KoseApp?

You can browse listings without verification, but to list a home, make an offer, or message other users, ID verification is required. This helps maintain a safe and trusted space for everyone.
